Feng shui history started during the Han dynasty around the third century. The practice of feng shui focuses on the chi as a representation of the life on earth that can influence us and out lives. Feng shui history states that it is influenced by three instruments, which include the compass, the pakua and the theory that life is ever changing. Initially, the practice of feng shui was used mainly as a way to locate burial sites for the nobles of China.

Nowadays, feng shui is used primarily to prepare and adjust the flow of chi into one's home or office. Feng shui history may have started it out as a divining practice of searching for the ideal homestead area or burial place but it has come along way from that already.

What started out for finding ideal homes and burial grounds was soon developed into an art form that considers the effects of natural occurrences such as water, the sun, the wind and many others. Feng shui history clearly states that the believers of this practice used it to achieve comfort in a great area to build a home or a great place to bury their dead.

Feng shui history also states that it was initially called Kan-Yu, which is literally defined as The Law of Heaven and Earth. The art of feng shui is related to agriculture and interior decorating. There are many influences to feng shui. In feng shui history, the goal of the practice has remained the same as it was a long time ago. There is little deviation from the practices and beliefs of feng shui.

The practice of feng shui soon traveled out of China and was adopted by many other nations. It has been popularized in the United States around the late eighties and the early nineties. The spread of feng shui and its popularity can be gauged by the many believers who scour feng shui books to learn more about this art form.

In spite of some of the practices of feng shui being a little difficult to grasp, many of the beliefs and practices show a clear understanding of the environment. As feng shiu history has shown, the practice is based on the betterment of oneself using basic placement and common sense. Throughout feng shui history, The Chinese people have shown resilience in their belief that has shown many valid points and ideas that have merit.

Feng Shui Tip #1

Most of us would easily relate feng shui to the practice of achieving harmony with the elements and the environment through proper placement and arrangement of space and matter. However, do you know that feng shui can also deal with abstract like love or romance.

Feng Shui Tip #2

Want to improve your romance? First, clean up your home and free it from clutter. This is because a messy or cluttered room does not promote proper flow of chi. Instead it will leave it stagnant and stale.

Feng Shui Tip #3

Bedroom, for most of us, is for rest and relaxation only. Hence, do not bring work into the bedroom as the stress of work will permeate the feeling of harmony and make your love life stressful. It is also advisable not to work out in the bedroom as well since the strain and exertion of your exercise could remain and affect your love life. That is Feng Shui Bedroom for you.
